“The drawing, previously attributed to Bernini and later to Maratta by Pouncey in 1956, has recently been identified as a decorative project for the quadrant of a night time clock in a private collection in London. This clock is considered to be the one commissioned by the cardinal Antonio Barberini to the artists Giuseppe Campana and Carlo Maratta.
