Louis Pasteur (1822-1895) sposò Marie Laurent (1826-1910) nel 1849. Avevano 5 figli: Jeanne (1850-1859), Jean-Baptiste (1851-1908), Cécile (1853-1866), Marie-Louise (1858-1934) e Camille (1863-1865). Jean-Baptiste Pasteur sposò Jeanne Boutroux (1854-1932) nel 1874; non avevano figli. Marie-Louise Pasteur sposò René Vallery-Radot (1853-1933) nel 1879; avevano tre figli. Camille (1880-1927), Madeleine (1882-1882) e Louis (1886-1970). Camille Vallery-Radot non si sposò e non ebbe figli. Il decreto del 4 settembre 1945 autorizzò Louis Vallery-Radot a prendere come patronimico il nome Pasteur Vallery Radot. Louis Pasteur Vallery-Radot sposò Jacqueline Gohière de Longchamps; non avevano figli.
