Questo pannello è stato realizzato da Corrado de Mochis a metà del XVI secolo, basato su un cartone animato da un maestro tedesco. In ogni caso, era originariamente destinato alla grande finestra dell'abside V19 del Duomo di Milano, in cui sono raffigurate le storie del Nuovo Testamento. Il pannello rappresenta la tragica deposizione del morto Gesù Cristo che viene portato giù dalla croce alla presenza di Maria e dei portatori. L'opera è attualmente in mostra nel Museo del Duomo di Milano, nella sala dedicata alle più antiche vetrate.
