Born in 1947, David Herbert Dale was a British-Nigerian artist who was proficient in over 23 different media including painting, beadwork, etching, charcoal, stained glass, mosaic, lino engraving and foil among others, which he mastered under the tutelage of his teacher, Bruce Onobrakpeya.
