Künstlerin von Haarlem, aktiv von 1675 bis 1717, arbeitete auch in Paris, Frankreich (1684) und Großbritannien (1690). Schüler von Nicolaes Berchem (1621/22–1683), Jan van Huchtenburg (1647–1646) und Hendrick Mommers (1619/20–1693). Malte italienische Landschaften mit Jagd- und Schlachtszenen, Camps, biblische Themen (Landlandschaften mit Elementen der Genremalerei) und Porträts.
