Adolphe Crémieux - war ein französischer Anwalt und Politiker, der unter der Zweiten Republik (1848) und der Regierung der Nationalen Verteidigung (1870–1871) als Justizminister tätig war. Er diente als Präsident der Alliance Israélite Universelle (1863-67; 1868-80), sicherte die französische Staatsbürgerschaft für algerische Juden unter französischer Herrschaft durch das Crémieux-Dekret (1870) und war ein steiger Verteidiger der Rechte der Juden Frankreichs.
