Edige Linnig, artista. Olio su tela. 1857 - SAM DUNNING; nave da guerra 3m con tutte le vele impostate. 14 porte. Burgee volando sul mast principale. Dimissioni americane. La riva distaccata con edifici e mulino a vento. Vista laterale del porto in ombre profonde. Superato Flushing, la foce del fiume Schelde. Cornice 335.5 x 45.5. Intenso per le offerte (fir o pino di alcune dimensioni) e il commercio di cotone in Europa, il DUNNING ha portato entrambi quei carichi sotto i skipper del Maine Thomas e Robert Skolfield. Caricava un carico di cotone a Mobile subito dopo Secession nel 1861 e partì rapidamente per evitare il sequestro. Ha anche portato guano, grano, carbone e, sotto la proprietà britannica, riso. Fu costruita a Brunswick nel 1854 da Samuel Dunning e perse nel 1864.
