Eugenio Prati (1889-1979) expose ses œuvres dans les expositions de Vérone de Pro Assistenza Civica établies après la bataille de Caporetto, obtenant une attention immédiate dans les milieux artistiques et critiques pour l'originalité de son approche artistique, attestée par son ami et mentor, écrivain et poète Lionello Fiumi. Après la guerre, Prati a exposé dans de nombreux spectacles en solo et en groupe et travaillé sur plusieurs monuments commémoratifs de guerre. En 1926, il déménage définitivement à São Paulo, au Brésil, où il se consacre avec succès à l'art funéraire, qu'il avait déjà abordé en Italie, et à l'art sacré et monumental.
