Erst veröffentlicht von Pedro Craesbeeck (Lisbon, 1614), die Peregrination von Fernão Mendes Pinto würde nur noch eine weitere portugiesische Ausgabe im 17. Jahrhundert (1678) trotz seiner 18 aufeinanderfolgenden Ausgaben in Spanisch, Englisch, Französisch und Deutsch in der gleichen Zeit. Dies ist die fünfte portugiesische Ausgabe.
