Questo dipinto presenta una vista della vita quotidiana a Brooklyn, New York. Francis Guy dipinse l'intensa intersezione di Front, James e Fulton Streets dalla finestra del suo studio di secondo piano. Per catturare l'architettura e ricreare lo spazio, Guy ha posto garza di fronte alla sua finestra e "trattato" la scena con il gesso, poi trasferito lo sketch sulla sua tela.
