Platte I von Physico-mechanischen Experimenten zu verschiedenen Themen, von Francis Hauksbee (London, 1709), der Königlichen Gesellschaft präsentiert vom Autor am 26. Oktober 1709. Die Platte illustriert Hauksbees Einführung (S.1-4) zu seinem Buch mit dem Titel „A General Description of the Air-Pump made use in the following Experiments“. Hauksbee (ca.1660 – 1713) wurde 1705 zum Fellow der Royal Society gewählt und war von 1703 bis 1713 der Experimentalkurator der Gesellschaft.
