Mestizo personaggio che indossa pantaloni blu, camicia bianca e gilet, e scarpe nere. Sulla testa indossa un cappello, un secchio di legno con un coperchio e un manico. Nella mano sinistra tiene il secchio e nella sua destra ha una scelta di ghiaccio. L'uomo gelato è apparso nella stagione estiva, portando un secchio di legno all'interno del quale è stato trovato un altro metallo. In quest'ultimo ha depositato il gelato, che ha offerto nelle strade. Il commercio itinerante è stato esercitato principalmente da persone indigene, che ha ottenuto il ghiaccio dalla Cordillera - circa 140 km dalla città di Lima, portato con treni di asino, lavoro che ha richiesto tra 18 e 20 ore.
