Dragoons 1850 montre des troupes américaines précavalières en Occident qui luttent avec l'ennemi de l'époque : les habitants amérindiens des territoires occidentaux. Le cheval en tête semble être un cheval militaire (notez les étriers) acquis par les Amérindiens comme indiqué par le buffle cache sur le dos du cheval sans cavalier. Remington a créé 22 sujets différents en bronze. Dragoons était la 13ème sculpture. Bronze romain Ouvrages non. 6.
