WILHELMINA VON HALLWYL, andando a casa di mena. Mena La casa era originariamente un rifugio di caccia, costruito per Khedive, Ismail Pasha nel 1869. Venne venduto a proprietari privati nel 1880 e fu presto ricostruito come hotel con 80 camere. L'hotel ha aperto nel 1886 e nel 1890 ha aperto la prima piscina in Egitto. L'hotel era solo dalle piramidi ed era un punto di vista perfetto per i ricchi. I von Hallwyls hanno visitato l'hotel un paio di volte, una volta il 13 dicembre per mangiare la colazione dopo aver visitato le piramidi.
