Destinato per la cappella del Palazzo Episcopale di Fontelo, Viseu, questo dipinto rappresenta la Cena di Cristo nella Casa di Marta e Maria. Cristo appare al centro della tavola, affiancato dal commissario del dipinto, il Vescovo Dom Miguel da Silva (il cui stemma è rappresentato sui polmoni delle colonne centrali), e dagli apostoli Pietro e Giovanni. Marta, che simboleggia la vita attiva, e Maria, che simboleggia la vita contemplativa, sono raffigurate in primo piano. Uno degli aspetti più interessanti di questo lavoro è il suo rapporto, stabilito attraverso la figura di Maria, con l'incisione di Albrecht Dürer,
