Girolamo Tauro, Sohn eines Seiden-Shopkeepers, starb 1625. In seinem Testament hinterließ er viele Immobilien an die Ospedale Maggiore, am Rande von Mailand (in Vimodrone und Zinasco) und in Mailand selbst: das Bauernhaus Boscaiola, das Haus in Via del Falcone, Heimat der berühmten Taverne des gleichen Namens, ein Gebäude in Porta Comasina vor der Kirche von San Simpliciano, einige Gebäude über Pescheria Vecana, Borgo.
