Ambrogio Bertarelli (1849-1936) hatte eine schnelle und helle Karriere, zunächst als Helfer für Carlo Forlanini und dann als Nachfolger, seit dreißig Jahren als Leiter der Dermatologie und dermosifilographie der Ospedale Maggiore. Er gründete die Richtungen der Via Pace (1908), wo er eine hochmoderne Phototherapie-Sektion schuf. Zusammen mit seinen Brüdern Tomaso und Luigi unterstützte er seinen Pavillon mit Geldspenden, die fast eine Million Lire erreichten. Es finanzierte den Bau eines Gebäudes der
