This earthenware sculpture, already in Sgarbi collection, was published first in 2012 as attributed to Andrea Ferreri (Milan, 1673 - Ferrara, 1744) according to the comparison with the Anteros sculpture kept in the Civic Art Collections in Bologna, which is inscripted “A F F” and dated 1740 .Stefano Tumidei, when described the Anteros in 1991 (part of a private collection at that time) underlined the fact that Ferreri showed a style “so close to Mazza
