El escultor y medallista alemán Gottlieb Elster diseñó este jarrón en 1899 para KPM - Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin. De su cuerpo cónico crecen irises florecientes y dos cabezas femeninas. El motivo básico corresponde a la metamorfosis del hombre y la naturaleza, que se aplicó como ideal estético, debido a las líneas orgánicas y móviles, especialmente a finales del siglo XIX.
