Questa miniatura, che è ampiamente ascritta a Holbein, si basa su un disegno di lui nel Louvre, Parigi. Sembra che sia stato tagliato per adattarsi a una cornice ovale. Wriothesley (1508–1550), che era Lord Cancelliere e custode del Grande Sigillo, agiva come esecutore di Enrico VIII e consigliere in carica di Edoardo VI.
