Una figura che indossa un lungo cappotto e un cappuccio nero si trova vicino a un tavolo. Sta ispezionando un vaso blu/bianco che è appena stato disfatto da una cassa. La parte superiore destra è una mensola a parete con ulteriore esempio di porcellana. Il soggetto è raffigurato tenendo un vaso di zenzero in porcellana K’ang Hsi (1662-1722) con porcellana simile sullo sfondo; queste guerre sono state seriamente raccolte negli anni 1870 e 1880.
