Jingū, un'imperatrice leggendaria del Giappone, era un guerriero-governatore, ha detto di essere stato attivo nel terzo secolo. Un'infermiera bagnata culla suo figlio, il futuro Ōjin. Takenouchi no Sukune, il suo brillante generale, detiene un fan iscritto con le parole “distruttore di eserciti”, riferendosi a una stella auspiciosa militare nel Grande Cena, e un promemoria che Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849) e molti dei suoi studenti, tra cui Kōsai Hokushin, erano aderenti al culto della Stella del Nord.
