Serie Leeuwarden: Comandanti in Capo delle Forze degli Stati GeneraliWillem Adriaen era generale dell'artiglieria degli Stati generali dal 1603 al 1628. Nel 1606 divenne governatore di Geertruidenberg, e nel 1613 governatore di Heusden dopo la morte di suo fratello Massimiliano, che aveva tenuto il posto.43Il prototipo non è stato trovato. La frusta in pizzo indossata da Willem Adriaen suggerisce che fu eseguita tra il 1605 e il 1615 circa.
