Xavery era uno scultore di Anversa che si stabilì a L'Aia nel 1721, dove divenne pittore di corte. Nel 1736 fece questo busto della principessa Anna di Hannover, figlia del re Giorgio II d'Inghilterra e moglie dello stadista Willem IV. Un paio di anni prima, Xavery aveva fatto un busto dello stadholder stesso, che è anche esposto in questa stanza.
