I motivi scarab in stile egiziano sulla cintura e il design della gonna asimmetrica. È un buon esempio dell'influenza orientale sulla moda che era popolare al momento. Jeanne Paquin stabilì la sua casa di moda a Parigi nel 1891, e ha vinto la popolarità tra le donne e le attrici della società a causa dei suoi abiti splendidamente fatti che erano splendidi e romantici. Aprì rami a Londra nel 1896, e stabilì sezioni di lingerie e pellicce, ottenendo il successo attraverso questa espansione delle vendite.
