Una coppia anziana è avvistata al centro, seduta all'interno di un grande padiglione e circondata dal loro discendente. L'altra parte dell'immagine mostra l'offerta di fiori. Jiao Bingzhen con sede a Jining (濟口), Shandong Province (山東省) è stato un artista professionista attivo durante l'era della dinastia Kangxi. All'epoca i missionari dell'ovest stavano scorrendo nel paese portando con loro una tecnica d'arte occidentale. La tecnica di pittura occidentale ha fatto un'enorme impressione su molti artisti Qing, tra cui Jiao. Si dice che Jiao ha prestato grande attenzione alla nuova tecnica di pittura da ovest e l'ha masterizzato alla fine.
