Questa locomotiva è di una serie di sole due unità di origine belga dalla Société John Cockerill ed è stata acquistata dalla State Railway, per operare nelle reti Minho e Douro, entrando in servizio nel 1908. Era destinato ai servizi ferroviari suburbani, essendo confinato nella zona di Porto e nel 1927, è stato trasferito a Espinho. È stato utilizzato anche sporadicamente sui servizi di trasporto. Fu rimosso dal servizio alla fine degli anni '60.
