Santa Cecilia (1895) è un dipinto ad olio del pittore inglese Pre-Raphaelite John William Waterhouse. Cecilia viveva a Roma intorno al 230 d.C. È famosa per aver fatto un voto di castità lungo la vita che ha mantenuto nonostante il suo matrimonio forzato. Ha convertito il marito al cristianesimo ed entrambi hanno sofferto il martirio. In epoca medievale, una cattiva lettura dei suoi Atti portò al suo legame con la musica della chiesa e quando l'Accademia di Musica fu fondata a Roma nel 1584, fu adottata come patrona. Il giorno del suo santo è festeggiato il 22 novembre. Il dipinto (46 x 77 in) è ora nella Сollection di Andrew Lloyd Webber.
