In questa grande composizione verticale, Tan"yū ritrasse il famoso calligrafo di Song del Nord Mi Fu (1051–1107) scrivendo una poesia su una superficie rocciosa ad un celebre partito di literati noto come l'elegante riunione al giardino occidentale. Questo pannello porta anche il titolo di Tan"yū", menzione della sua età (sessantacinque), e un sigillo dipinto che legge Seimei. La maggior parte dei shukuzu di Tan"yū manca delle firme completamente realizzate viste su questo pannello e il suo compagno. Questi disegni potrebbero essere stati fatti non come shukuzu ma piuttosto come disegni preliminari per dipinti.
