Estampado de madera de colores de ‘Siete dioses afortunados’ atribuido a Kitao Shigemasa, publicado por Nishimuraya Yohachi; impreso en Edo (actual Tokio), Japón, durante los 1770. Investigados juntos en su barco de tesoros, los Siete Dioses de Buena Fortuna de Japón son una compañía auspiciosa dibujada de diversas tradiciones. La diosa musical Benzaiten, Daikokuten, Hotei y el feroz guardián rey Bishamonten llegaron a Japón a través del budismo. Invocada para larga vida, Fukurokuju y Jurōjin tienen sus orígenes en el Daoismo Chino. Ebisu es identificado con deidades de la fe indígena Shintō de Japón; a menudo se muestra la pesca, aquí se representa con un broche rojo.
