Gli oggetti realizzati dal Maestro Mateo nelle collezioni della cattedrale includono pezzi significativi della grande facciata occidentale che ha completato il Portico della Gloria. Questa facciata fu modificata per la prima volta nel XVI secolo per contenere porte che chiudevano la cattedrale. Fu poi sostituito con l'attuale facciata barocca, che usò la precedente struttura e la ricoprì di nuovi ornamenti in pietra. In particolare
