もともとスライディングドアパネル(fusuma-e)として塗装され、その後は大きな折りたたみ画面として再マウントされ、秋のメープルの木の下に簡単にこの作品が飾られます。 パネルの裏側は、スプリングタイムのクレーンを表しています。 徹山は、森宗泉の叔父に採用されましたが、京都に住みながら、丸山大京に師事し、10代の最高峰にランクインしました。 その後、江戸に移住し、丸山様式を関東に導入。 鹿は、ソセンの自然の中で動物の慎重な観察と彼のモッコツ(インクの輪郭なしの「無骨」)の技法を描いた、非常に現実的なスタイルでレンダリングされています。 不透明の赤のメープルの葉と小さな松は、ツリートランクのねじれの樹皮であると同時に、非常に自然主義的です、しかし、これらは、周囲の風景の簡素化された提案と明確に対照的であり、スパングリは金の霧によって示され、閉塞されます。 リアル主義と単純化のこのブレンドは、動物や鳥がほとんど夢のような世界の中に存在するように見える奇跡を作成します。
