Fünf große Leinwand stellen die Geschichten aus der Passion Christi dar: Agony im Garten, Krönung von Thorns, Flagellation, Christ Carrying the Cross, Abstieg vom Kreuz. Die Gruppe der Leinwand war Teil einer monumentalen Ikonostase in der Avanzi-Kapelle in San Bernardino, von der die Kreuzigung von Francesco Morone im Jahr 1498 war die erste Arbeit ausgeführt, gefolgt von diesen und anderen von Gianfrancesco Caroto und Nicola Giolfino und Abschluss in 1546 mit Gemälden von Antonio Badile und Paolo Veronese. Die Predella dieser Gruppe bestand aus vier Tafeln mit Heiligen Joseph, Johannes der Täufer, Bonaventure und geschlagen Bernardino von Feltre, die nach Vasari Porträts von Bekannten von Morando sind.
