In den frühen 1960er Jahren begann Philips mit mehr und mehr Betonung auf die Standardisierung von Form und Technologie und Anpassung an das populäre Design. Das modische Element dieses 1964 Pop-up-Kasters ist die emaillierten Seitenplatten. Diese waren in einer Reihe von beliebten Farben erhältlich, darunter rosa, hellblau und hellgrün. Der Toaster kann beide Seiten von zwei Scheiben Brot gleichzeitig rösten. Nach Fertigstellung wird der Toast automatisch aus dem Toaster herausgehoben – das Pop-up-Prinzip.
