Queste piccole brocche sono progettate per rappresentare acqua e vino. La maniglia del vino è sotto forma di un faun o satiro, e paludi di uve scintillanti alludono alle gioie del vino. Il vaso d'acqua porta la figura di una sirena e un mostro marino fantasioso con una bocca spalancata. Pierre Gouthière (1732–1813) è stato il più famoso cacciatore di bronzo parigino e gilder del suo giorno. Ha ricevuto commissioni da figure principali come il Marchese de Marigny, Madame de Pompadour
