Coreografia di Vasily Vainonen alla musica di Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky e libretto di Marius Petipa e Vasily Vainonen. Costumi e ambientati da Vladimir Firer e Aleksandr Khramtsov. Nel secondo atto, dopo gli eventi con i topi, il Nutcracker si trasforma in un principe e porta Clara alla terra dei dolci. La Sugar Plum Fairy accoglie Clara nel palazzo.
