Eine der wichtigsten päpstlichen Kommissionen von Raphael war die Raphael Cartoons, eine Serie von 10 Cartoons, von denen sieben überleben, für Tapisserien mit Szenen des Lebens von Paulus und Petrus, für die Sixtinische Kapelle. Die Miraculous Draught of Fishes, 1515, ist einer der sieben verbleibenden Cartoons für Tapisserien. Es ist jetzt Teil der Sammlung des Victoria und Albert Museum.
