Un dipinto del maestro olandese Rembrandt. È ospitato nella Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister di Dresda, Germania. È firmato "REMBRANDT F.". Ritrae due persone che erano state identificate come Rembrandt stesso e sua moglie Saskia. Nel mondo protestante contemporaneo, il tema del figliol prodigo era un soggetto frequente per opere d'arte a causa del suo background morale. Lo stesso Rembrandt dipinse un Ritorno del Figlio Prodigale nel 1669. Il lato sinistro della tela è stato tagliato, forse dall'artista stesso, per rimuovere i personaggi secondari e concentrare l'attenzione dell'osservatore sul tema principale.
