1882年福岡県生まれの青木茂は、近代日本を代表するアーティストです。 日本の神話や古代インドの物語などのテーマで数多くの作品を描き、その豊かさと創造性で時間を過ごしている人々を魅了しました。 肺疾患から28歳で亡くなった青木が、約3年間の貧困と熱心な対立により、小雪が亡くなった後、九州を回る時に作った作品です。 1匹の犬の「犬」で、俳優のようにポーズして、夕暮れのシーンで描かれているのは、青木特有の劇的な設定です。 伸張肩の筋肉やニブルな脚など、そのような側面の図面から、Aokiの記述能力の高いレベルを知ることができます。
