Disegno preparatorio in inchiostro e pigmento di colore raffigurante due figure femminili. La femmina più vecchia a sinistra rappresenta la dea Xiwangmu, la Regina Madre dell'Occidente. Il daoismo aveva un gruppo di “immortali”, esseri che avevano raggiunto poteri soprannaturali attraverso la padronanza delle abilità segrete. Tra questi c'era Xiwangmu, conosciuto come Seiōbō in giapponese, che viveva nel paradiso occidentale dei monti Kunlun, dove gli alberi di pesca crescevano portando frutti che donavano l'immortalità. Xiwangmu è stato un tema popolare da mostrare sul compleanno di una donna. Vedere 56.50.74 (DUP) per una versione monocromatica della stessa composizione.
