さいたま県立浦和高等学校を1904年に完成。 絵画を学んだり、アーティストになったシアトルに一人で旅しました。 彼の裸婦の絵画は特に注目を集めました。 1920年、彼はパリに妻を連れて行き、定期的に開催されるサロン・ド・オートムンやその他の展覧会で活動していました。 彼が故郷を離れ、日本に帰国することなくパリで亡くなりました。
