Un gregge di cormoranti sulle scogliere. Sullo sfondo, le isole al sole. I Commorad si tuffano dopo il pesce nell'oceano e sono spesso visti con le loro ali allungate asciugando le loro piume come possiamo vedere uno degli uccelli che fanno nella foto. Røst è il comune fino alla fine dell'arcipelago Lofoten costituito da 365 isole, alcune delle quali con le zone più ricche di uccelli nidificanti in Europa settentrionale. Lo stemma del comune ha tre commoranti su di esso.
