La parte central del políptico representa la Resurrección. Las tendencias manieristas se pueden observar en el poliptych. El fondo del paisaje es de la más alta calidad, con vista reconocible de Brescia. La figura brillante del Cristo ascendente está rodeada de nubes que están iluminadas por los rayos rojos del sol de la madrugada. La luz en la parte superior de la pintura forma un contraste vivo a la oscuridad de la tumba, donde los únicos flashes de luz son reflejos de la armadura de los guardias. Este efecto dramático de la luz apoya el mensaje teológico de la Resurrección. Titian ve abiertamente con la escultura en la figura de Cristo, tomando inspiración de la estatua helenística recientemente descubierta de Laocoon.
