"I Valois Tapestries sono una serie di otto arazzi che raffigurano feste o "magnificie" alla Corte di Francia nella seconda metà del XVI secolo. Gli arazzi sono stati eseguiti sia nel laboratorio di Spiering, sia da Joos van Herseel e Franchoys Sweerts. Gli arazzi sono stati progettati da Antoine Caron. Caterina de' Medici, regina di Francia, li diede alla sua amata nipote Christine di Lorena, quando Christine venne a Firenze per sposare il suo cugino baciante Ferdinando I. Tutti tranne uno degli appesi raffigurano una serie di magnificienze che Caterina produsse negli anni 1560 e 1570. A destra del Festival sull'Acqua ci sono Enrico III e Luisa di Lorena".
