Hiroshige" grande successo nel tradurre il paesaggio a stampe e forme d'arte popolari riposato sulla sua capacità unica di capire le qualità tradizionali di luoghi famosi (meisho) e vederli di nuovo. Questa scena del Ponte di Imado cattura la porta solitamente trafficata ai quartieri di piacere in un momento tranquillo prima delle cadute serali e si insinua tra l'umile bellezza artificiale e naturale della scena del fiume.
