The standing female figure is among the first large-format works that the artist from Giulianova dedicated to the theme of dance, actually already present in some small-format bronzes from the forties. This is an example of the mature style of the artist, who is strongly linked to the realistic figurativity of the beautiful forms, but deprives the modeling of any redundancy reaching that compositional and plastic essentiality that characterizes his later production.
