Un par de sillas concejales de pino tallado y dorado y madera de haya, cubiertas de terciopelo rojo con adornos de oro y equipadas con un cojín y valence y espaldas con forma de carros romanos. Estas magníficas sillas epitomizan la manera romana totalmente desarrollada que George IV adoptó para los interiores de Carlton House desde c. 1805 utilizando los principales gabinetes Mayfair y decoradores interiores, Marsh & Tatham (subsequently Tatham, Bailey & Sanders). La introducción de este estilo de grandiosidad, que se aceleró después del establecimiento de la Regency en 1812, eventualmente desbordó la mayoría de Henry Holland
