Immagine di Yoon Dongju e Song Monggyu nei loro anni di scuola media prese su un campo a Longjing. È stato donato dalla famiglia di Song Monggyu. Yoon Dongju è sulla sinistra e Song Monggyu sulla destra. I due laureati Myung-dong Primary School, hanno studiato in Jeil Primary School, una scuola elementare cinese nella Prefattura di Helong, e si sono iscritti insieme a Eunjin Middle School situato a Longjing nel 1932. Primi cugini e amici l'uno all'altro, Yoon Dongju e Song Monggyu sembravano gemelli a causa dei loro volti e altezza simili, e si dice che siano andati d'accordo nonostante le loro personalità opposte.
