Zahariy Zograph (1810-1853). Fu uno degli artisti più importanti del periodo della rinascita nazionale e il primo rappresentante tipico dell'arte secolare del XIX secolo. Era il figlio del pittore Hristo Dimitrov, anche se ha studiato pittura con suo fratello Dimitar Zograph. Le sue icone e affreschi si trovano nelle chiese di Plovdiv (1834–40), Zlatograd (1834), Asenovgrad (1838–41), Koprivshtitsa (1838), Zlatograd (1834), e nel Monastero di Bachkovo (1840) , il Monastero della Trasfigurazione di Dio (1849, 1851), il Monastero di Rila (1844–45), il Monastero di Troyan (1847–48), il Grande Lavra sul Monte Av52. inv. NG 690
