張 張 張 In dieser Reihe von zwölf Schriftrollen transkript Zhang Ruitu einen Kommentar zu fünfundzwanzig Kalligraphen, die von Yuan Ang (461–540), einem Künstler und Minister am Hof der Liang Dynastie (r. 502–57), komponiert wurden, wo sowohl literarische als auch künstlerische Kritik in China zuerst blühten. Während einige der Kalligraphen diskutierten, wie Wang Xizhi (ca. 303–ca. 361) und Wang Xianzhi (344–386), sind kunsthistorische Figuren, von denen viele heute unbekannt sind. Zhang schreibt in einem kraftvollen Stil, der durch scharfe Winkel und Zeichen gekennzeichnet ist, die größer sind als sie breit sind.
